Why pars plana vitrectomy for anterior segment surgeons?
The PPV approach offers advantages over the anterior chamber approach for non-complicated vitrectomies in cases with vitreous prolapse, vitreous opacities and blocked filtration tubes.  Potentially remove IOLs dislocated into the vitreous cavity.

Target Audience
These educational activities are intended for practicing ophthalmologists, both general practice and subspecialty interest in corneal surgery.  Nurses, surgical technicians, eye bank technicians and other health professionals who support ophthalmologists are invited to register.
